The Role

As Gosforth Civic Theatre's  Major Donor Fundraiser, you will play a crucial role in securing significant donations to support our work, building and nurturing relationships with high-value supporters, regularly engaging with them to maximise their support and commitment.


We'd love to see you showcasing the following skills and experience when you get in touch:

  • You've got a track record of personally securing major (five or six figure) gifts from individuals in a charity environment to meet agreed targets.

  • You have experience of managing and developing relationships with wealthy and/or influential individuals and/or organisations, inspiring and motivating them to support our work.

  • You work collaboratively as a strong team player, with strong cross team working, influencing and negotiation skills

  • You are able to communicate with impact - you're articulate, persuasive and credible with a range of audiences.

  • You roll your sleeves up and get the job done, understanding the bigger picture.


Terms

Contract: 12 Months (With the potential to be made permanent)

Hours: 24 - 32 hours per week (Flexible)

Holiday entitlement: 30 days per year plus bank holidays (pro-rata)

Salary: £35,000 pro rata

Starting: ASAP


Place of Work: Gosforth Civic Theatre, NE3 3HD

From Monday 1 July our café bar will be opening during the following times:

Monday: Closed
Tuesday: 8.30am – 8pm
Wednesday: 8.30am – 8pm
Thursday: 8.30am – 8pm
Friday: 8.30am – 8pm
Saturday: 8.30am – 8pm
Sunday: 9am – 5pm

Please note our opening times change on the following dates:

Fri 11 April - closing at 3.30pm

Tu 15 April - closing at 5pm

Thu 17 April - closing at 5pm

Fri 18 April - CLOSED ALL DAY
